We are going to get a little Taste of India today!  Its color, pattern and grace are fun for any space.  You can see a lot of the color they use in their local produce market and the patterns mimic that of a mosque.  The elaborate archways create depth with its light and dark contrasts.  So, let’s go on a trip today!  You don’t even have to go anywhere; you can look at these photos inspired by India from the comfort of your own home!

Casablanca Filigree Metal Lanterns - Featured on Pottery Barn

This one is easily attainable and can be bought at your local Pottery Barn.  Its details and patterns mimic those of a Mosque.  The pattern is carved into wood and used to roll over sheet metal to produce a beautifully hand made lantern.

Hand Carved Cedar Chest - Featured on Berber

This wonderfully hand-carved chest made of wood would look great at the end of your bed or in the entry way of your home.  I love how there are a ton of organic detail along with reference to the ever so famous archways.

Khadra Chair - Featured on Casbahdecor

This leather Moroccan chair is SUPER unique.  It was hard for me to take my eyes off of it!  It was hand made with embossed leather work for a truly one of a kind piece.  You would need a special place to put this chair.

Keshmara Pendant Chandelier - Featured on Casbahdecor

This is probably one of my favorites.  I adore how the cutouts from the light fixtures make a gorgeous pattern on the ceiling.  It adds flavor and flare for a true taste of India!  It’s a great way to have fun with a space.
